Murphy is 8 weeks now and he's been home since Monday, so off to the vets for his health check and first round of vaccinations. Personally I like to wait until 8 weeks for the first jabs, as does my vet - I know some have different opinions.

Anyway - he was a star, lots of tail wagging, before and after his jabs and pronounced to be all fit and healthy. He even got a little goodie bag to bring home. OK, mostly leaflets trying to sell me stuff.

Back home where he's sleeping it off, so a day off from clickers, socialising etc.

Off to the supermarket tomorrow for some new experiences and meeting people.

Ah what a little star! Maisie slept for most of the days after her 8 week and 10 week injections, but had no other reactions. Enjoy your socialising, we have just come back from a trip into town - met lots and lots of different people, she just loves it and is now sleeping soundly :) :)
It's our last few days before she can go into the big wide world on four feet, I can't wait!!! ;D ;D

Sounds like Murphy did brilliantly well :) Hope there was a doggie treat in the goodie bag...

Not a treat in sight, Murphy was very disappointed, he didn't think much of freebie flea treatment or of the very handy poop bag thingy!

Slept most of the day, then had a bit of runny poo turning to jelly. A reaction to the vaccinations I guess. Thought it better to give him boiled chicken and rice for dinner, thinking he may need something's little gentler on his tummy and he may be off his food.

Gentler may have been right, but judging by the way he wolfed it down, he's fine! Just to note, he's drinking well too so no cause for concern.

He's a real pleasure, I have managed to get no 'proper' work done this week at all! They give so much pleasure don't they and what better way to spend your time.
