Hi all! We are due to get our chocolate lab in the first week of January. we have plenty of dogs in the family so we’re all used to them but it’ll be our first puppy ourselves. Any advice on what we will need to start with? We will have a crate in the kitchen for their ‘safe place’ with a bed in, and also a bed in the living room for them. Would you recommend cushion type beds or something else? We don’t want to get anything unnecessary to start with. Any advice would be appreciated. Many thanks, Jo
Hi Jo, Welcome to the forum! Congratulations on finding a puppy We've got a checklist of puppy essentials on our main site - my top purchase which I don't think is on it is enzyme spray for cleaning up accidents! And for the same reason, whatever bed you get, make sure you can wash the whole thing very thoroughly! Good luck - I hope the time until January goes quickly for you!
