Today was the first time we have been able to take Harley out for a walk. We have a park and field 5 mins walk away. When I have put her lead on before in the house/garden she has tried to chew it and get it off. I was a bit worried before leaving today, but she totally surprised me. She walked by my side the whole way there and back without pulling. This is good for me as I have spinal problems so can't let her pull. I let her off the lead in the field and recall worked every time. I am sooooooooo proud of how good she was with other dogs too. She sat calmly when 2 dogs approached - the lady asked if the dogs could say hello first :) - she was shocked Harley is a lab as she was so calm. How proud am I ;). I know this is day 1, but what a start :D
