Hi just wondering what people are feeding there labs on n if there doing OK on it. My lab is 12 months old and he is quite fussy. He was on skinners junior but kept giving him bad stomach Anyone else got a fussy lab
Our Joy turned quite fussy about food shortly after he turned one. The vet gave us a tonic for increasing appetite but he won't take it because it smelled of fish oil. We were worried about it all, since he wasn't getting the proper nutrition (he would only eat rice and yogurt) and also lost some weight due to it. But over a couple of months, we've observed that it happened on hot days only. Now that it's raining a bit and colder outside, he's back on his lab appetite. The only problem is, he won't eat plain kibbles. We sorted that out by adding a spoonful of yogurt to it. And sometimes, he is adamant about eating his kibbles from the floor and not from the bowl. For me, a lab like Joy sitting with a bowl full of food in front of him and not eating was a weird scene. I hope it's just a phase with your lab too, and that it goes away soon.
