Just wondering what people thought about having a forum calendar??

We could have a photo competition and put the winners in the calendar? We would need the owners permission for each photo. I have done a draft calendar and could do an A4 calendar with approx 30 photos on. It would cost about £7.50-£10 max.

    What are your thoughts?

Count me in! I'd love one.

Organising a competition might be a bit of a faff though - particularly for that many photos. You might want to just ask for contributions, and reserve the right to pick the ones you want! (you can make a big photomontage for the front cover or something to use all the ones people send or something like that). But, whatever, I'm easy and you can certainly use any photos I have.

I agree just make it easy, You could get people to submit one of two of their favourite photos and work from there. Any themed months like Christmas you could have collage of photos :)

I think a forum calendar sounds like a lot of fun, and it is really kind of Ternaya to offer to produce it.

Something to bear in mind though, if the forum is involved.

As the owner of the forum, any issues with a product linked to the forum or main website – whether with production, distribution, processing payments, quality control etc - would come back on, or at least reflect on, me.

And for that reason, I would not want anything to be sold with any kind of Labrador Forum or Labrador Site ‘branding’ on it, without my input and control. Which at the moment, due to family commitments, I simply don’t have the time to offer.

However, there is nothing to stop you guys getting together though to make your own calendar and even selling it using the made by members thread – if there is time before Christmas to do so. You’d just need to make sure it was not ‘connected’ in any way officially with the forum or The Labrador Site.

Hi Pippa. I totally understand possible issues and would ensure no branding related to here was on it. Would it be ok to call it 'Forum Friends'? This way it wouldn't relate directly to this particular forum?
