I have decided that when we are eating the best place for Hattie and Charlie is in their beds as the mat training was frankly driving me crazy Charlie is brilliant and only has to be told once and he stays, Hattie on the other hand being such a foody has to be told and herded back a few times but then gets the message and stays. When we have eaten and cleared up I call them in a very cheery voice, they come in all tails wagging where they then get a good old scratch and rub to let them know they have been good. My question is will they think they have been told off because they have been sent to bed as this is not what I want at all? Thanks xx
Re: Go to bed when we are eating No, they'll just come to accept it as part of the house rules. Poppy always goes on her bed (well, on one of her beds; often it is the couch) while we are eating. We don't even have to tell her anymore.

Re: Go to bed when we are eating It took a month or so for DD4DD (well, when we named her I had no idea I'd be typing her name on a forum so often lol). Now she goes to her bed automatically as soon as we sit at the table.
