This morning while on our trek round the field and playing the "find the tea towel" game Goldie ducked her head into some long grass and appeared with a rabbit. Now im not adverse to a little hunting as used to have 2 Bengal cats who were amazing hunters but i was a bit  Luckily she brought it over and reluctantly handed it over. I didnt have any treats to reward her with so gave he lots of praise instead for giving up her loot. The poor rabbit looked traumatised but did run off...hopefully to join its family and live a happy healthy life ??? The rest of our walk Goldie was a bit wired but still obedient. Obviously the tea towel is no comparison to the real thing haha

By way of contrast, Lady came across a rabbit lying down in the long grass. The rabbit stood up and ran off with Lady running as fast as she could .......

.... in the opposite direction. ::)

My sister's lab once brought home a live baby leveret in his mouth. Sadly, the bl**dy cat then ate it...

And Goldie you need to come and have a word with Brodick about How To Be A Good Dog....what a good girl she is. No way brods would have handed it over, even reluctantly. In fact I wouldnt have seen him for some time....
