Well some of the forums older members may remember that Puzzle was in training for Search and Rescue. I am very delighted to announce that as of the 15th of November she has been a Qualified Novice Lowland Search and Rescue dog! The 18 months of hard work all payed off and she passed her Assessment weekend with flying colours, it was long, tiring, wet, windy ( too windy) and exhausting but well worth it. Come August we thought that all the hard work had gone down the drain due to an injury that could have been career ending for Puzzle, but so glad it wasn't and that we could get back to normal duties in September.
What lovely news, very well, done to you both....will you come by and tell us when she does a SAR duty? X
That is a brilliant achievement, well done to both of you. How wonderful knowing Puzzle will eventually save lives - FANTASTIC!!! You should be so proud of yourself xxx
Well done to both of you - well worth all the hard work! Will you/she get to do any helicopter training, or is it just the Mountain SARDA dogs which do that?
Probably not as all of our work is lowland and our transport on callouts is either covered by 4x4 rescue or other team members. Would be fun to try though
This is absolutely wonderful news, what an amazing achievement for you both. I can't believe where 18 months has gone?
