    Greetings everyone!!

I'm a new puppy mommy. Ive never had a dog and I finally tricked my mom into getting me one when I turned 23!!!

My almost 5 month old puppy is named Nala!! She's a Dudley lab and looks just like a lion cub and was born a Leo on August 16. Just like me!! She is my rescue puppy!! I got her at 2 months old and it's been history ever since.

As I have never had a dog or pet before I am struggling with training and consistency. She is veeeeery mouth and nippy. She tries to put my whole ankle in her mouth, and has taken gashes out of my hand. Some say it's normal, but its driving me crazy. She is also very smart, bright, and strong. I have come here to gain some understanding and support specifically from people who have labs!

Looking forward to getting to know you all

Hi Nala & mummy - there's lots of training help on here - feel free to post specifics, there is a lot of experience around to help.

Oh, well done for "tricking" your mum!

Hello and welcome to the forum. Have you read The Happy puppy book by Pippa?
I think it will help you with your puppy. Have you any photo of Nala for us to see?
