Dyson is now 14 months old and a solid 80lbs.
I am looking to purchase a new harness as he has outgrown the last one. Unfortunately the ones I have seen in the pet stores look very flimsy & don't fill me with confidence. He normally walks well with little pulling. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. :)

Ruffwear harnesses are brilliant, but expensive. Worth every penny though in my opinion. They are rugged looking and fit all sized and shapes of dogs and pretty strong.

Also the Rogz brand of harnesses and collars are great. They may look just the same as your basic pet store harnesses but they are really well made and strong.

I would of recommended the Julius K9 but Lucan managed to break his yesterday! He ran into something and the plastic buckle snapped where it attaches to the body of the harness, he was left trailing the strap, luckily still at home and not out on our walk.
I keep going back to using our old faithful Trixie H style harnesses, nice double thickness soft webbing straps, easy to put on and put through the washing machine every now and then they still look like new.

    I used to use these:

I found them to be very good - no sore bits, very robust, Y shaped so thy don't interfere with the movement of the legs, D ring at the back very far back.

Oh yes, how could I forget! I have one exactly the same as the dog games one, but made my Xtra Dog, it also has a ring in the middle of the chest for lead attachment which helps prevent pulling on the lead.
