I have just dropped Hattie off for surgery to remove a lump on her back leg. I don't mind admiting I cried like a child as I left the practise, so ridiculous but there it is. I won't have her back until about 5 pm, so this is going to be a very long afternoon. I feel sick to my stomach :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( Thanks for listening xxxx

Re: Hattie's gone in for her Surgery ;(;(;(;( Thank you for all your kind wishes. I picked Hattie up at 5 pm and she was very happy to see me. Her wound is bigger than I expected with 6 stitches. She is only allowed into the garden tonight and tomorrow and then 2 x 15 minute walks for 6 days when we go for her after op check up and then we can gradually build up walking. The vet said she was a complete star and a joy to have in the practise. She is still quite wobbly but managed to eat a small dinner and is sticking to me wherever I go bless her The vet has sent the lump away for testing but we won't know the results for a week or so. I am so very happy to have her home where she belongs, the house just wasn't the same without her Charlie knows something is wrong and has only come out of his bed for his dinner Thank you xxxxx
