Hi everyone my name is Ally and I am currently here in Japan and feel like winter all year round. My baby and I just moved in here last month, we've been staying at home for a few days now because of the weather. As of the moment, my Ringel only has a typical soft dog bed to ease the winter breeze that's why I am planning to buy her a heated pad, but I am still wondering if such type of bed is applicable for a 6-month old puppy like her. Your suggestion will be highly appreciated, thanks in advance BTW, we won't stay here at Sapporo for too long, for I'm just here for a business trip.
Welcome to the forum If your pup sleeps inside I'd say that the bed you have already will be just fine. Unless your house is very cold I don't think a heated pad would be needed for a healthy young dog.
Hi and welcome. Dogs fur keeps them warm. If your house is cold you could put a blanket on her bed which she can snuggle into if she's feeling cold.
Welcome from me and Lilly too. Dogs don't seem to feel the cold much. What kind of temperature is it? If she is chilli though she may just snuggle up on your bed
