Hello everyone! I am Lora and a week ago today I picked up my little black Lab puppy, Alfie. He is a real sweetie, but also a real handful! And this forum has helped me a lot with worries and concerns. I've been around Lab's my whole life, my earliest memory is of my dad's late working dog, Meg, but this is the first time I've actually owned one of my own, so despite having a fair grasp of what to do, this is still something of a leaning experience for me, in many, many ways! Alfie turned 10 weeks on Saturday, and honestly I feel very lucky with how well everything is going, as things like crate training are a little over my head, as none of the other dogs I've been around have ever used them, but we're getting there together! It's really nice to be here anyway, and reading all the information you are all posting about your lovely dogs! It was decided for the sake of having a little support during the troublesome puppy months that being around my family would be a good thing! As well, he can certainly be a handful!
