My 4yr old yellow English Lab (92lbs) ate a mechanical pencil my child left on table from homework. My cat knocked it to floor & my pup thought it was fair game ‍♀️
We found it 1st thing before work (6am)he had thrown less than half up it bits & pieces/crushed. But not all. His morning bowel movement was normal & he just wanted to play ball & run in yard. My hubs gave him his brkfst. RoyalCanin dry kibble. He gets no table scraps just brkfst & dinner & couple milk bone biscuits inbetween. He threw up part brkfst hrs later (1pm). He drank water still wanting to play. His evening bowel movement was normal nothing in it. I’m worried about blockage
I gave him petroleum jelly & white bread at 5pm. Did I miss window to help move this through easier?? He threw up some water/mucus (after him running yard) and I held off dinner (dry kibble) to not make things more compact. I gave him besides petroleum jelly I gave him some pumpkin puree. His temper is normal but I am worried about the throw ups.
    Do I wait & see??

Talk to your vet, it’s not worth hanging about if he could end up an internal injury. Hope he’s ok.
