My lab bit me tonight pretty bad it broke the skin. I went to bring him inside when I dropped his lease and he charged at me. He grabbed the lease quicker than I did, then he jumped biting me on the chest and he tried to bite my hand. We’re building a pool so the past few days we’ve been walking him in and out by leash to his dog run.

Not sure why he’s acting like this. It’s not the 1st time for him to bite. When do they stop bitting? He turned one in March.

Are you sure it was aggression rather than excitement? How much exercise (mental and physical) does he get each day?
Did you grab at him when you dropped his lead. Oddly, dogs don't tend to like being grabbed at.

It does sound like he is under-stimulated, under-exercised, and found an outlet for all that, in you...

Why is he in a dog run? How much time does he spend in there?
