My friend have given me a 2month old black labrador.. When we arrived home i notice some blank space on his elbow its like a scar but not a wound it skin is just dry without any fur.. It just look like he is loosing hair in that part...can be a possible skin disease? Please help...

It's impossible to say just from your description .it could just be the way his fur is growing,if it looks like a scar he might have had a little scratch playing with his litter mates ,puppy nails are sharp,or it could be something more that would need to be checked out at the vet.Is your friend the puppy's breeder? He's only young ,if you aren't sure I would get him checked over. How is he settling in with you otherwise ?Puppies are wonderful but can turn your life upside down for a while ,are you feeling prepared and what is his name ? Best wishes Angela x
Hi Cyra and welcome to the forum. Like Angela says, it's impossible to say with just a description. There's lots of things it could be, from a scratch to a bite to an allergy. I always like to err on the side of caution and would have my vet look at it - I assume you'll be taking him for his vaccinations anyway, so you can ask him to have a look then.
