Oh, @Beanwood, I think you should also like to hear, yesterday, I rocked up with my GoPro. Elaine saw I had my chest strap for it, and noted, "they don't fit through the tunnels". I said "Benson?". She nodded, sagely, and replied, "Yes, Benson"

Just had our third session. Oh my, you guys have to come here and do this! It's just amazing! So much fun for us all. Willow - yes, my little gut bucket! - is now more motivated by toys and running the obstacles than by food. Willow!!!! She has never turned down food in exchange for activity before. OK, so we have some steadiness issues with her starting to creep forwards, but, you know what, I don't give two hoots because it just shows how much she's enjoying it and it's lovely to see. Steadiness is something that's easy to fix - and, now I'm working on it with toys. Amazing. We've extended the distance between the obstacles and raised the bars today, and they're flying through the simple "course". So, now we're going back and doing some more basics, which will then allow us to progress further. I can't wait to get to Spain and have J build a course for us there. Now I just need to source a good agility tunnel to have shipped there. I'm already looking forward to coming back next year - or maybe November if we can squeeze it in

I bet you end up with an agility course before you have windows and a bathroom and flooring.... ;)

Glad to hear it us going so well. Loving the photos... Keep them coming! :)

We had an early training session today. Poor Willow was frazzled. She hadn't wanted to get out of bed this morning, which should have told me something; we obviously over-did it yesterday. I could tell almost immediately went out that it was going to be a challenge to have her learn anything new, so we decided it wasn't in anyone's best interests to push the issue, and we just sat and played while J worked with Shadow instead. She really is such a sensitive soul, I find it so challenging to train her new things, but she rewards me in bucketloads. Just last night, I was watching the two of them sleeping and my heart was melting for them both. :inlove:

Just getting back to catch up Fiona.....just sounds brilliant,I know how much Dexter loves it with the limited exposure we've had.I think it's brilliant how your trainer explains the importance of your body language. My instruction has been very, very basic to be honest ,we've never been 'taught ' that although Dexter is so visual I do use it.
I'm joining a group in Yorkshire for a couple of months when I get back .....am so pleased I have looked into this after reading your posts.
Have you got space you can use to get your own set up rigged up when you get home? X

Not in Andorra, sadly, but we have oodles of space in Spain. I can't wait to continue with everything we've learnt so far (and there's a lot of it - my brain is going to explode!)
