As me and my family are possibly going for a short holiday during easter we need to decided what food we will put puzzle on as it is impracticable to feed her raw. We are looking for foods as close to raw as possible so that it is not such a big change to her. Grain free is a must as her diet is mainly grain free except for the treats she gets.

Any suggestions would be greatly received.

We would switch her onto the food a week or so before we go so that she has time to settle with it and change it if need be as it does not agree with her.

I will also add that we live in the UK

Are you looking for a kibble - dry food?
Or would a wet food be okay?
I am guessing nothing frozen! :D

I feed Nature Diet when I go away and can't take the dogs' usual raw food. They love it and I have never had a problem with it.

Dry or wet. barley gets dry and wet mixed as his usual diet so he will be getting that.

Thanks for that, barley has had nature diet wet food many times before, he loves it and has never had any problems with it, but then he loves all wet food as it is better than kibble to him.

I was thinking of the 80/20 dry complete grain free foods I have tried.
    Eden - Simpsons - Orijin
    In order of increasing cost.
Probably wet would be better but more bulky
Depends on what space you have

Thanks for that, not heard of simpsons before, will go look it up.
yes wet is more bulky but having barley on it, with him having 2 cans or trays a day along with kibble we know how much space it takes up. And we will probably take the trailer as we would have to take barley's cage with us and there is no room for that in the car
