Well de-crating 3 months ago was a great success. Holly settled very quickly and got to the point of not making a sound until she heard one of us move upstairs. However, she shall no longer be called Holly and will go as Houdini instead as the little minx has figured out how to open the living room door. It opens inwards and she has it down to a knack (we spied out of curiosity). One paw on the frame, other paw pings at the handle and voila! Freedom to the rest of the house! Upstairs doors open outward so nice and easy for her. It was not a lazy relaxing wake up call at 7am with a happy bouncy lab on the bed just delighted with herself for finding us.

Next stop b@q for a round door handle!

    ;D

Our friends' lab does this! They even put the handles on upside-down so they lifted up, but to no avail. I've been telling them for years they need round doorknobs instead of handles.
