This bugs me. It bugged me when I thought she was 6 months old and wasn't. At 24 weeks I thought she was 6 months as there are 4 weeks in a month (6 times 4 = 24 so she was 6 months). However, there are 52 weeks in a year so 6 months is really 26 weeks. WAKE UP - don't snooze off with boredom please!
So, do I count her age in weeks or months??? Born on the 27th April , counting in months she is 8 months. Counting in weeks she is almost 36 weeks. 36 divided by 4 = 9. so is she 8 or 9 months?
No, there is nothing interesting on the TV at the moment. ::)

The issue is there's not exactly 4 weeks in a month, so you can't just divide number of weeks by 4 to get number of months. So, once you're past counting the weeks, simply go over to months, on the date that she was born. So, if she was born on 1st July, on 29th July she'd be four weeks old (28 days = 4 weeks x 7 days), but she wouldn't be a month old until 1st August. Just like you celebrate your birthday on the same date each year, regardless of how many days there are in the year. Hope that makes it clear!

This is a very interesting question.
It frequently arises related to pregnancy.
    Human pregnancy is 40 weeks = 9 months........um .......no.......10 months? .......u hmmm. ...not. ..

I can't think in months for this....just the weeks.

For doggy purposes I think I personally stopped thinking in weeks around 16 weeks then went for calendar months.
Football is on here right now......

Totally confusing. I love apps for my android phone and decided a good app would be an app that would tell me Rolo's age. Went to the play store couldn't find one for dogs so went for a normal age one, it was useless. I have given up now.

I calculate Labrador age by the orbit and rotation of the planet Mercury. Chepi is therefore 4.38 days old.

Oh gosh were all bored tonight aren't we! Hahaha!

I stopped counting Penny's age in weeks when she got to about 16 weeks.... From them I went by calendar months. She was born on the 28th January 2013 so will be 2 at the end of this month. At present she is 1 year, 11 months and 4 days old :)

I think I'll use Saturn. It was the original "sun" of Earth, don't you know? Or so I was being told yesterday. You live and learn! ;)
