Hi from Maryland. Great site, lots of info!

It's been awhile, I've had two over the years, both of them Black Labs. Kids are grown, I have a few grandkids, divorce all done, kind of lonely and way to quiet around here so it's time for another one...lol

All Labs are awesome, going with a Chocolate one this time. Supposed to pick her up next week, getting ready for her, refreshing my memory and learning some new things. I want to train and take care of her as best as possible. This site and some others have been a great resource!

    Best regards,
    L

I recommend the Happy Puppy Handbook :)

Welcome to you from Mags, Tatze and Keir from Manchester UK

Tatze is my pet dog, a black Lab and she's four years old. Tatze means 'paw' in German.

Keir is my fifth Guide Dog puppy, a yellow Golden Retriever/Flatcoat cross and he's five months old.

Welcome, great idea to have new puppy, lots of interesting things to do and people to meet. However, you will have forgotten what hard work they are:D. But the hard work will soon stop and then you have such pleasure.

Hi welcome from Cassie and myself in the Uk, agree with Stacia that in all likelihood you will have forgotten what hard work puppies can be -- I know I had! But yes so worth it, I look forward to hearing about your chocolate girl, how exciting.

Hi and welcome from me and 4 year old girl, Harley.

Have you got a name for her yet? I highly recommend the Happy Puppy book too as really good for new owners of labs and a great refresher for those with past experience.

Welcome from Hattie 10 years and our rescue boy Charlie 6 years. Hope your new pup brings you great joy and there's no doubt she will be great company. What will you call her? I recommend Pippa's The Puppy Handbook and Total Recall xx :)

Thanks for the warm welcome! I recall some of those puppy days, yes, it will be work, but worth it. Her name will be Brandy.
    Thanks again,
    Larry
