Hey yall! I'm a first time owner of a mostly-lab mix, she has a bit of Rottweiler as well. Little did I know what I would be getting myself into when I got a lab! I've had labs and various other working dogs growing up, but I never did the training. It was a big surprise when the calm puppy I brought home turned into a whirlwind of black fur. My Dixie is one goofy dog, but I couldn't imagine life without her. I live on a small ranch where she loves to run through the fields with our 5 other dogs, and I even plan on getting a chocolate lab soon! I haven't spent much time on this site, but I have already found plenty of helpful tips and hope to discover more about labs.
