I run a pet care business and from an early age my entire male Labrador has been meeting and playing with many different dogs, mostly neutered female dogs but also some similar age entire male dogs. Last week a new male Labrador came for a meet and greet visit and my dog was so excited and couldn't stop humping him! This was of course embarrassing for the other dog's owner and in the end I removed my dog but what do I do when he comes for the whole week? Any advice welcome..

How old is your boy? Oversocialising puppies can sometimes lead to them being overconfident and rude with other dogs. Can you distract him from this behaviour?

Some dogs just seem to attract humping. My previous male neutered black lab was constantly being humped mainly by male dogs but sometime female!
Toby occasionally gets over excited playing and will try to dominate a dog by humping it. I just move him away and put him back on his lead. That is generally the end of it.
Presumably you won’t be leaving the dogs on their own together?
