Lady just had a nightmare and woke up back arched and screaming. Gave her a hug and some calming talk and she wagged her tail, gave a lick and went back to sleep. I just wonder what her nightmare was. Nothing nasty happened today so she must have dreamt about something completely intangible. Anyway, sleeping peacefully now.
Re: I often wonder what our dogs dream about Oh poor girl When they dream they must be visualising something. So does that mean they can consciously recall past events too (ie. when awake). I imagine that they can do. Animal dreams are a fascinating subject and it'd be great if we had the technological means to learn more about the content. One day we will I expect.
Re: I often wonder what our dogs dream about She's probably dreaming about her own pups being taught to roll in fox poo by a mysterious black stranger..
