so, we are moving house and Teddy has been enjoying his food and we have had no issues, however the local shops don't do his usual food so we are now having to change. The food he has been on has been recommended daily amount of 450 grams a day. We upped this to 500 as he started to lose weight, albeit slowly. I put this down to his active exercise regime (Running once a day with me for half an hour and one and a half Hours of ball throwing/walking). The new foods we are looking at though (James Wellbeloved, Wilderness etc) have a DRA of of just 250 - 300!!!! If I were to change to one of these, would this include filler (rice/veg etc)?

Also, should I split this down between 2 meals? Can't imagine Teddy being too happy about only having one meal a day, especially when he is constantly scouting for more things to eat (typical lab)

    Thoughts are greatly appreciated

There's no reason why his food cannot be split into 2 meals. I think most manufacturers recommend 2 meals for adult dogs. One though is having his regular food delivered. There are many very good online shops and delivery is very fast. I order lots fromuk companies for delivery to France
