I rarely use my 10 year old laptop. I prefer to use my ipad. This forum is really ordinary in the ipad version of Safari. There are forum readers available for tablet and phone that would be ideal, but this forum is not listed for access by any that I have checked. Tapatlk and Forum Reader have been recommended to me. Can the forum be made accessible by one of these readers please? Or maybe there is an app that will run it. Please advise. Stuart.

There is no difference in functionality or look between my newish ipad, and my brand new laptop....so not sure what difference you are seeing? I don't know the answer to your question, if Pippa spots it, she might ask the tech guy though...

The iPad has its own little quirks that I don't have on the laptop. If the site owners are receptive to the idea, I can do some homework for them & put up a proposal.

I don't know what effect that will have on the way the forum works when viewed in a web browser, if any. they are Tappatalk and Forum Runner. I've never used them. There you have it.

I have a laptop and an iPad open at the same time (I'm supposed to be working : ) and can't see any difference between the two. The forum is small and fiddly on my phone, but so are all my apps...small phones are, well, small...

The only thing I've noticed is on my iPhone, the banner picture at the top overlaps the links on the top right, which is a bit annoying, because I do pretty much all of my forum reading using "Show unread posts since last visit". But, hey, I use my laptop 99.9% of the time, so it's not a major issue for me.

Speaking personally if you mean making a mobile version of this site, I for one wouldn't use it. I prefer the full version of websites, I feel as if there is something missing from the mobile versions and the apps.

The top aps require the administrator to run a script, that's why I posed the question. I found 1 app that doesn't require a script & it's garbage. It looks like everyone is happy with the current set up so here ends my lobby. Stuart.
