Hi my 6 year old lab was informally diagnosed with elbow dysplasia in February after limping on her front left leg, she is so stressed when going to the vets so hasn't been diagnosed with an Xray. She was rested as advised, given anti inflammatory daily 32mls for a month, she is now taking 10mls alternate days, she also has high strength glucosamine and devils claw daily, we now walk 3 -4 miles daily she is back to off the lead and seems happy enough, she has the very occasional limp, but is slow towards the afternoon, should I continues this regime as I'm not sure if this is elbow dysplasia ?? any advice would be greatly appreciated

I would recommend having her xrayed for a proper diagnosis and to know the extent of her ED if indeed she does have it. If it is bad and as she is so young, surgery may be an option to reduce her pain.
