Managed at last to get a sample of wee from Millie but its showing no infection at all . Vet thinks that its most likely to be a sore bladder following the spay , some inflamation possible so she has given me Cystaid tablets and also an anti inflam type medication to calm the bladder down , the cystaid will coat the inner bladder wall and stop it from feeling sore . Both meds for a week and it should clear, but if not it will be back for blood tests . In herself she seems fine, eating well , drinking as normal and still chasing squirrels this morning so fingers crossed

Re: It isnt a UTI It's not easy getting a wee sample is it? I follow megs around the garden with sterilized dustpan (bought especially). Hope Millie responds to medication and it's good that she's chasing squirrels. If that was meg she'd stare at it and run the other way ;D ;D Jen
