ok Lab lovers. What's the single best thing about owning a lab. Is it the fact that there is always someone there to love you when you come home no matter what; the thrill of the hunt for you working community members; the fun and the laughter, the fact that it brings the family so much closer together? I'd really like to know because I want to whet my appetite a bit

A dog is someone who loves you no matter what, always wants to be with you, and greets you at the door like you are the best person ever, every single time you come through it. Plus, they make you laugh at least once a day. And they keep you humble, which is never a bad thing

Re: It was for the best... I live their happy-go-lucky nature, trusting and forgiving without judging, but also the calming balancing feel of my home thanks to my dog.

Re: It was for the best... Whatever I'm doing Holly wants to be invoved: watching the TV, going for a walk, having a meal, in the garden ... Its difficult to pick one thing when she adds so much to so many areas of my life.
Re: It was for the best... A true friend, one who doesnt judge, doesnt care what money you have, or dont have , a dependable cheerer up when you need it most . A clown and a comforter all rolled into one x
Re: It was for the best... Thanks for sharing! I'm a divorcee and what I'm looking forward to the most is knowing that I won't be physically on my own when I've left family or friends and come home. I don't always like that empty flat feeling plus I love a good cwtch at the end of the day! ;D
Re: It was for the best... Our labs are such a comfort. They're loyal, playful, friendly, and intelligent. I love coming home to megs, she doesn't get left for a long time, only if I go shopping etc. She gets so excited, running round in circles, tail wagging, and I swear she grins at me.
