I just LOVE this dog!! :inlove:

OK it didn't go quite according to plan...but I swear Casper has a sense of humour.

What I was aiming for was a send out to his target stick..ignoring the bowl of treats..only we didn't get that far! What the heck though, he enjoyed it!

Well I decided to video Coco's efforts so far, but he really can't be bothered today and plods around - I think it's too warm for him (20.3°C!) (Sorry! Woman's Hour is the soundtrack!)

Lovely video @edzbird, Coco is such a handsome boy.

He did so well, especially when he just stood by your side as you dropped food into the bowl. Ella definitely would have struggled with that.

Maybe not the zippiest Coco has ever been, but he certainly understands the game is is doing brilliantly! What's next on the agenda? :)

@edzbird Coco did really well -I especially liked his quick responses to down and sit at a distance.

@Beanwood Casper is just so lovely -as though he's trying to hurry you up -'Look I've been to the post, now where's the grub?'

I found an old teddy in the cupboard that I decided to sacrifice. Molly was most unMollyish, leaping up at me in excitement. However I was so pleased that when I put it on the ground she was willing to heel away from it. When I sent her to it, we then played tug with it, as otherwise she would just have shredded it. ( Soft toys are high value for her because I can't let her have any to herself.)
I'll try to take some video later in the week.

I just love Casper, he has such a happy expression and I particularly like the fact that he rewards himself for eating the biscuits by going to 'place' :D On a more serious note, perhaps if you put the bowl much further away from 'place' he would succeed.

Yes, I had already moved the bowl once, and a good tip, will move it a bit further away next time. I guess the main thing is he is having such fun! :D

Hehehe, good job, Casper. He's definitely worked this game out! :D

Yeah, it may be worth having the bowl by your feet for a while, so you can pick it up if he approaches it, then gradually move away from it. But, that doesn't lead to such fun videos :D
