Ok, we have, somewhat belatedly, had a bash at the challenge and made a few short videos. Our second challenge, when we get home from holiday, will be to figure out how to post them ;)

OK, I've had my first bash at editing videos and uploading to YouTube ... be gentle!

In keeping with other posts I've included the 'not as planned' parts too - it took us 3 goes to even get close to an acceptable 'send to bed' :)

Very good. Will try my only dog tomorrow. My beloved older dog was put to sleep today, so unexpected.

Lovely video. He looks like such a happy dog. I love when you send him to the bed and he drops by the bowl, one step back and drop again, another step back and drop again etc. You can see him thinking "surely that's close enough!"

He is a very happy dog :) The send away is funny but the clip that really makes me laugh is the recall and the way that he virtually bounces across to me (and then tries to get his tennis ball off the table in preference to the treats - must try using the ball is the distraction next time!) :D

Sorry to have 'pushed into your post' Uncle Bob (I know you only live about 7 miles away from me!) but I wanted to thank everyone for their very kind words, it does help xx

@UncleBob loved the video - the edging back step by step was classic
