We have a rota to come home at lunchtime to see to the boys, but it's getting difficult some weeks and we have to keep swapping days, so we decided to arrange a dog walker. Our friend recommended someone and she's just been to meet the boys. She was lovely and they really liked her!! She's going to do one day a week for us to start with, and just playing on the garden with them as they aren't great lead walking together, but she is happy to walk them when they are ready. It's really reasonably priced, and just an extra charge of £2 a day for the second dog.

I have applied for another job as things at my current one are not good now, it would mean I can't do my 3 days a fortnight after Christmas, so if I get it she will do those days too.

We are going to look at doggy day care one day a week when they're a bit older, but I think they're a bit young at the minute as it's mainly older dogs who go .

Feel v relieved now we have this in place, as I can just text in a morning if I want an extra visit, so we are always sorted for them.

I would love to do that as my job :D

Its a big step letting sum1 else that you dont personaly know look after your pup.

Please let us all know how this progresses as I, & the rest of us would be curious to know.

Well done, that's a big step. I hope it all works out for you. Certainly will take the pressure off in the meantime anyway. Good luck with your job application :) xxx

Sounds great! We use a dog walker and day care and we find it very valuable. :)

    Good luck!
I think we would find one essential if we ever get a new dog (before I retire at any rate)

That's great! I have a dog walker, and she is amazing. I couldn't run my life without her. Charlie adores her. If you get a good dog walker, they are worth their weight in gold. :)

I have a dog walker twice a week and she also does day care when I need it. It took me ages to find one I liked and Harley liked - they really are sooooo valuable :)

    Great!

I had a dog walker when we both worked. She was brill.

I also take Tatze to day care occasionally when we are all being out for the day. I found it too much for her 'tho, until she was 12 months old - she simply played TOO much!

Good to hear so many people have reliable dog walkers. When she came she was so excited to meet the boys, and instantly sat on the floor to play with them, they just loved her. She was so obviously a dog lover, and although she has two small breed dogs of her own, she grew up with Great Danes so my boys should be a breeze after that :D
