My baby girl is being spayed today...She'll have surgery this morning, and then spend the night at the vet's office. I'll pick her up tomorrow about noon and bring her home for what will hopefully be a quiet weekend with her.

We chose to do her spay early - she is just under 40 pounds, and not quite 5 months old. In discussions with our vet this makes the most sense, and she should come through with flying colors and an easy recovery...

But still...I have 24 hours without my baby girl :'( :'( :'( No middle of the night snuggles for either of us...poor girl will be in a Kennel all day AND all night   I miss her already..... :-[

Aw, I can imagine how you feel without her. I couldn't imagine a labless life now! Willow doesn't go in until the beginning of March, when she's seven months, but I know Shadow will be getting lots of extra cuddles that day - before he gets shipped off to stay with a neighbour during Willow's recovery, and then I'll miss him terribly! Not looking forward to that AT ALL!

Let us know how little Bella is when you get her home x

    I'm sure it'll all go well :)

What about making some home-made dog biscuits to pass the time and as a nice treat for when she comes home?

    Sending you big hugs x
I hate it when Harley has had to be kept in when she was really poorly, but it makes it even better when they come home :)
