poor Inky has kennel cough. He was up most of the night with what sounded like a cross between whooping cough and croup, no idea where he got it from. It's always the way that he's unwell when I'm supposed to go to work so cancelled that and went to the vet this morning. They've put him on antibiotics as a precaution. Anybody got any ideas to ease the cough?
Poor love , must be horrible . Try giving him some honey on a teaspoon to lick off, its really soothing for them, get well soon Inky x
Amber had kennel cough a little while ago. Letting her lick honey off a spoon did seem to help. It took a while for it to clear up completely but she is fine now.
Poor boy. The vet gave us anti-inflammatories to ease the discomfort and the urge to cough. That seemed to help a lot.
