Kirstie Allsopp Christmas Dog Biscuits.

    Kirstie Allsopp Christmas Dog Biscuits.

    Ingredients

    350 g Flour
    2 tbsp of dried Parsley
    1 Egg
    1 Chicken stock cube
    125 ml Hot water.

    Method

    Preheat oven to 200C - 400 F - Gas 6

    Put the Flour and the dried parsley and egg into a bowl.
    Dissolve the chicken stock cube in 125 ml of hot water.
    and pour into the bowl. Mix well together and roll out.
    Cut out the biscuits and place on a baking tray.
    Bake for 20 - 30minutes, until golden brown and firm to the touch. Then leave to cool.
    Put in tin.

    Don't sound as tasty as the Peanut butter and Banana biscuits from yesterday :D, but Juno may think differently ;)

    No, I don't think they will be, but saw them on TV other night and thought someone may like to try them for their special friend.

    They sound good!

    If we make dog biscuits we sometimes add a sachet of tomato paste, grated Parmesan, or pureed salami (puree salami chunks or slices in a blender with some water added to make a kind of thick salami mush... You be ed to greatly reduce the other added liquid content as the salami mush will substitute for a fair bit of the liquid),

    Just to let you know I made a batch of these and Fred wouldn't eat them. I cover them with peanut butter then he did :rolleyes:

    I think if I made them again, I would add cheese or may be pieces of sausage in them.

    And we thought that a Labrador would eat anything :D:D. Pleased to see that Fred has a discerning palate :D:D

    Fred still not eating these, so last night put them outside for the fox. He liked them and soon polished them off.:rolleyes:
