    Hello

My lab seems to get out of breath quicker when running with her tongue out more. I am sure her gums used to be pink but are dark now. She is in good health/weight. It says online this could be an oxygen /heart problem. Has anyone got any ideas? I'm new so thank you and she will be going to the vet tomorrow.

    Welcome to the forum.
This sounds worrying. I would talk to your vet ASAP.

That's worrying, I would ring your vet now for advice or an emergency appointment. Let us know how she gets on. xx

Any news on this? Wondering if it's heart because I have a lab with a serious heart defect. Keeping my fingers crossed that it's nothing serious.
