My 1 year old black lab has been experiencing some form of allergies since November. His vet has put him on an allergy medicine that did not help. They put him on steroids which helped with the itch but now that the steroid is over he is back to clawing his fur off. They don’t think it is food allergy and he is on flea and tick medicine so they have ruled that out as well. They said it is most likely environmental. They said next step will be an injection that he will have to get every 6-8 weeks at $150 each. I’m wondering if anyone has any similar experience and if you found anything to help?
