Our family is interested in getting a Lab Puppy. The breeder told us that parents of the litter have not been tested for HD and ED but grandparents have been. Are a good grandparent score mean something? Means nothing, if parents have not been tested? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
If you can rely on the grandparents scores no responsible breeder would go to the expense of having their dogs health tested to breed from. This sounds like someone who has bought a health tested dog and just wants to breed from them. Very irresponsible and I would walk away fast!
