    Hi,

I've got a lab who is 14 months old. For the past 7 months, he is going through injuries on different legs. It's a different leg each time and hes most definitely had issues with all 4 now. Constant trips to the vets leading to xrays and metacam. In fact, he was in for surgery on his cruciate a few months back before the vet pulled out last minute (dogs was under anaesthetic and his leg shaved at this point) as the vet decided the lab was too young. For the past 7 months or so the lab only gets 2-3 ten minute walks a day as per vet advice and yet most recently has hurt another leg now which appears worse - appears to be hip this time though. All he did was get his ball whilst playing with me in the living room. Hes back at the vets yet again tomorrow.

Point being, does anyone else have problems like this with their lab and if so, how do you get through it? I wish I can say that this time next year itll all be behind us and he will be fighting fit because now we cant leave him, we are constantly worried that hes going to hurt another leg and the poor dog doesnt get to do much dog stuff.
