Labrador Schnauzer Puppies

Hi. We are trying to buy a Lab/Schnauzer puppy. Does anyone know of any? Have any clues as to where I might find one? Where to locate a breeder? Any help would be hugely appreciated. Many thanks.

 

Hi @Otto Bathurst and welcome to the forum from the Beanwood Gang. Wow, what an interesting mix, lab x Schnauzer! We don't as a rule give out recommendations on breeders, would cause no end of problems. Saying that we do advise on proper health checks, hip and elbow scores, plus the other relevant health tests for both dam and sire. I have a friend who breeds gorgeous large Schnauzers, lovely dogs too

 

So, am I to deduce from your surprised reaction to the mix, that it's gonna be a tough one to find??

I am not surprised really, a nice combo, just not something I have actively looked for. I do have a soft spot for the standard Schnauzers though...

 

One of our neighbours has a pair of (large) miniature Schnauzers.
They are very independent and the smaller one, a girl, is very bossy! Not a friend of my Lilly at all.
On their own they are lovely, quite food orientated
Can't rally imagine a lab cross.

 

They do sound like a nice mix. Will be really interested to see if you can find one....and get one.

 

I know two people with Lab x giant schnauzers and both dogs have lovely natures. This is in East Sussex but afraid I don’t know who breeds them.
