I have a 8yr old fox red lab who on Monday developed a limp in her hind right leg she got out of bed ok went for a pee and started holding it up and screaming in pain it lasted 45mins took her to vet who gave her anti inflammatory drugs for a week and bed rest with only 5min walks twice a day. She is very fed up and doesn’t seem to be limping I’m worried it will be her cruciate ligament. She’s already had her elbows done when she was 3 dysplasia in both. I work so if she has to have surgery it will be a hard recovery . Does anyone have similar situation? How to you keep a lab from going mad in her crate whilst she recovers .
