Hi everyone! We’re looking to adopt a Labrador puppy but we are a bit worried about our living arrangements and would really appreciate advice... We live in a 5th floor apartment with no lift and are wondering if it would be bad for the dog’s health to have it walk those stairs when it gets too heavy to carry? We’d hope to move to somewhere more suitable within the next few years, certainly before he gets much older. Is it really inconsiderate of us to expect a young adult to tackle all those stairs? I could carry him of course, but my girlfriend wouldn’t manage when she’s by herself. Advice would be much appreciated. Thank you all!
