Hello, his are you all? I haven't been around much as I have been enjoy ing time with Amy in the lovel y summer. That was until yesterday I noticed her limping. She was weight bearing but only just. No swellings anywhere. I just had another look and her middle claw has blood on the base of it. Would you take them to the vets for this?

Sorry to hear that - I hope she recovers quickly. Yes, I'd go to the vet. Damaged claws (particularly if stopping a dog putting weight on a leg) often need attention.

Poor Amy, I agree with Julie, damaged claws can be pretty painful too. Hope it's soon sorted

Hi Jade, glad to hear you have been enjoying the sunshine and your lovely Amy. I am sorry she is limping though, Charlie was at the vets a couple of months ago with a bad limp the vet was unsure whether it was a broken toe or an infection. I strongly advise taking Amy to the vet to rule anything serious out as it will be painful for her :'( Let us know please. Take care. xx

Hi, Maisie has been at the vets this week....she wasn't limping and what I thought was just a snag on a toe nail ended up tearing and having to be removed yesterday! Madam is currently rolling around on the floor eating her bandage while we wait to go and get a new one put on, which she thinks is highly amusing! So yes, a visit to to vets is a good idea. Hope you get her sorted.

Hi, I rang to make an appointment first thing. I think I got straight though to the vet. He just said keep an eye on it for now. We are having a sofa day trying to keep her off it. Because she is trying to still run and play!

Hope Amy is doing better tomorrow, but don't put off a visit to the vet if not. Poppy had a swollen tendon in her foot that ended up with her being off games for four weeks...
