I just had to share a small victory! I was so happy today that Jessie (14 weeks today) survived 6 noisy, excited three and four year olds coming to play at our house! Whilst she was initially very excited, she calmed down, was petted nicely and did much less jumping and mouthing than I expected. She even sat nicely when they gave her treats! She then settled nicely in her crate whilst they ate lunch. This is such an improvement in her behaviour around guests. 4 weeks ago, she would have hurled herself at their heads and I couldn't have imagined she would behave so nicely in this situation. It really heartens me that things are getting better!
