Millies wound looked fine this morning but then about an hour ago , she rolled over onto her back and it looked like the wound was opening , mad panic and thankfully only a few minutes down the road .
I could have hugged him ( except that he isnt a tactile sort of man :) ) he said it was just knitting very well and where one side met the other, the skin had lifted slightly , but no opening, quite the opposite, it is healing really well , phew :)

What a relief that it was nothing serious. I hope you are winning with keeping Millie quiet.

I reckon vets probably get used to being embraced and cried on.... Must happen often enough!

Glad to hear it's healing well though, Kate.

Oh thank goodness. When I saw the post I thought the worsed.

Millie probably thought you'd gone nuts whisking her off to the vet just for rolling over. ;)

At least you know it healing well Kate.

    Jen :D

Thank you :) I felt so upset because I have been everso careful with her, carrying her over streams and any muddy bits , not letting her jump etc . nearly over now though and she has been a total star throughout :)

Oh me too Barbara....thank goodness all is well know how careful you have been with her Kate, and you are so near the end...can't tell you how many times I've cried in my vets......the vet,the assistants, the receptionists...I've only had Dexter 10 months....I need to get a grip!
Best wishes to you all ,hope you get some better weather over the week end so you can get out and have a nice walk together x

Okay, I'm sorry Angela but that really did make me laugh....out of sympathy of course.... ;D ;D

Glad to hear Millie's okay....I know the terror of thinking that the healing is not going well and that you are going backwards....it's awful :p :p

    What a relief!!!!!

Whenever I end up bawling in the vet's he just sighs and says "No, you are not a bad owner".
