Phew what a couple of days  the inlaws have been visiting with their less than well behaved black lab, maintaining Riley's behaviour while Monty runs amok has been challenging and we've both felt like mean, nagging owners. I couldn't even leave them unsupervised in the garden as Riley decided to mount Monty :( something he rarely shows any interest in doing and a stern word usually stops him dead if his nose even hovers over another dogs back.
All in all quite hard work but we didn't do too badly, Monty only destroyed one of Lizzies toys ::)

    Bring on training next weekend!!

You know, I have that same exact problem with McQueen, only difference is it's my son that causes it ! :(

Oh I feel for you, nothing like a visiting hooligan to cause mayhem :)
I have a similar problem with a local lady who occasionally pops in with her hyper dog , it seems to rub off on Sam , so a weekend must have been quite a trial for you Barbara :)

Labrina , can also empathise , my five year old grandson Silas often visits , his best friend in all the world being " Puppy Sam " :) Its chaos but wonderful chaos :)

I was in the same situation with you, got my lab and let it play with neighbors lab (which is less than well behave ), my lab Serafina is so well behave even with visitors around.
But when this lab around, mess up the garden. Then I decided to let them play at the park, rather than in my garden.
