We are new to the forum and love reading the posts and comments. Emmy is my first lab and I'm learning so much about them through all of your posts! My last pup was a rescue and she passed away in December from a stroke. It was absolutely terrible, she was 3, and I loved her to pieces ❤. I decided not to wait too long because I wanted a furry friend back in my life. I was researching labs and read about silver labs. I saw the controversy but thought they were stunning, like all labs I browsed and found this little girl! Emmy will be 4 months in a little over a week. I got her at 3 months and she has grown so much over the last few weeks! I had a lot of restless nights and a few of those "what did I get myself into" thoughts, but this past week has been amazing. She is house trained, has learned a few tricks, and is loving fetch and clicker training. She loves her peanut butter stuffed kong. Especially frozen as a treat, helps to keep her calm in her crate. She loves playing with my 2 young nieces (1yr and 2yr) and she is so calm with them. She loves all people, which is a big change from my last pup. She is such a sweetheart and I now have such a love for labs. Had a ton of trouble uploading a pic, so we will see if this works!

Such a pretty girl, and the purple collar on her is just gorgeous. I hope you don't mind, but I am going to move your post to Introductions where more people might spot you as a newbie and say hello. Jac and Lilly
Thank you all for the hellos! Emmy and I are excited about our road ahead ❤ I spoke too soon about house training. We had 0 accidents for 2 weeks and then 3 in the past 2 days! We will get there!
