On Saturday Harley was very subdued and followed me everywhere. Sunday was great as we spent most of the day with the lovely Benson, Casper, Kate and Marcus . Last night Harley hardly ate her food, this morning she didn't touch it at all . She was great when we went for a walk through the woods today and then popped into pets at home. When we got home she was straight on the sofa and curled up. Tonight she ate most of her tea, but she didn't eat with gusto. We have tried enticing her into games and even gave her 2 new balls......she played ball with us for 5 mins, then led down again and isn't interested in playing again . Do you think she is missing Spero? Or coming down with something?

Either of those is possible, I would think. I guess just keep an eye on her and if she is still out of sorts in a day or two a vet visit might be in order.

When did Spero go to his new home? How was she in the first couple of days? If she was fine, and is now not fine then I'd suspect she's got something else going on.

Oh poor Harley! Hope she is OK..I know she can be a bit picky at times about her food. It was a wonderful day on Sunday, and both Benson and Caaper were exhausted! Both still a bit tired today:) Maybe it is all a little bit too much for her?

I think she's probably worried and confused that he has gone. Just be cheerful and kind with her, don't overdo the sympathy; she'll get over it in a few days I'm sure.

He left on Friday night around 7pm . She kept wandering around the house all day Sat and Sun when we were home. I will keep an eye on her and pop to the vets if she doesn't improve. Hopefully she will be back to herself soon.

Well, in that case I agree that she's just missing him. I'm sure you all are! She will be ok though.... I'm sure you will help her to keep herself busy till she feels better.

Dogs often react this way , simply because the dynamics in the home have changed , bless her .

    Thanks for asking ladies
Harley is starting to get back to herself, but I think she is still missing him a bit. Spero has settled into his new home really well . I have had lots of photos and lots of updates which have been great . We are meeting up very soon so the dogs can see each other and we are looking at booking out a location so they can go off lead together in a secure place. I will keep you all updated x
