Sams black hairs roll around like tumbleweed at times too , its normal I`m afraid ::) I dont brush him a lot as he tends to charge through brambles and undergrowth , it sort of does the job for me ;)

I have two black Labs, the one barely moults at all, so when number 2 came along and I found black hairs everywhere, it was a shock! He moults so much that the hair on his tum is very thin.

My old Lab lost undercoat in clumps at certain times of the year. Current dog Obi loses a lot less but we still have blonde tumbleweeds.

    Milly sounds pretty normal :)

Depending on age also they can lose their puppy hair a an alarming rate and at one point we thought Jake might end up bald he was shedding that much but thankfully he does not shed so much now . Mike

yes when Benson was 5 months old he literally "dropped" his fur! Since then though he has hardly shed at all, think we must be lucky! :)

I'm lucky too, I don't have a massive shedder but I don't think we are the norm...I think It's Dexter's way of coping with our temps...he seems to have a consistent coat all year round x
