Hi ,just new the forum, i have a six month old chocolate lab and he doesn't like getting into car, i have to pick him and put him in, he doesn't fight me and he is calm when in the car, he just puts the binder's on when we get near the car, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, Doug
Every day, put him in the car, drive somewhere nice 5 mins away and walk him there. If car rides are always short, and always go somewhere fab, he will get over it in no time. As he is a puppy and his growth plates are still open, lift him into and out of the car for as long as you physically can.
